What would it be like for you to know that there are times when God points at something you are doing, and says “I love that!”  That confidence is ours when we learn to give with joy: 2 Corinthians 9:7 tells us that God loves a cheerful giver! Another way this has been said is that God loves it when the giver delights in the giving.

 

When we let it sink in deep that God does not need anything from us, we start to realize that God’s call to generous giving is an invitation to something that’s good for us! Only God Himself brings gospel transformation and eternal impact. Giving, then, is a privilege that He gives us to participate in His work. Our giving is also something that God wants to use for our fulfillment in Him. According to Jesus “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

 

We extend that invitation to the family and friends of Fort Langley Community Church to give financially as a way of participating in the good things that God has called us to be a part of: sharing the gospel, life transformation, community impact and Kingdom discipleship.
